Pier 9
Autodesk’s Pier 9 Artist Residency was a melting pot for art and technology that reframed what was possible when lines between robotics, futurist thinking, media art, fine art, research, and creativity become blurred. In this short time, I covered a lot of ground as an artist in residence, advisor, community organizer, project manager, and program manager. My proudest work was creating the Impact Program with the Autodesk Foundation to help facilitate rapid prototyping for new companies with innovative projects oriented for social good. The scientists and artists I worked with became close friends and influential in my life. I’m incredibly proud to have helped bring their work into the world and am confident that the work that was done here will have a transformative effect that we will be able to observe in years to come.
